Statement
Getting to know somebody sometimes feels like being caught by Heisenberg uncertainty principle: the closer we come, the less certain the impression of the other person gets.
This series mimics this effect by means of photography, print and web media. In a mixture of pixels and halftone dots the portraits of close friends shift in detail as you zoom in and out – rendering the most familiar impression of the eyes – the windows to our soul – when zoomed out most, dissolving in an entropy of details when approached to intimate closeness.
